Documentary About Your Body’s Chemical Burden

'More than 80,000 synthetic chemicals surround you every day. Synthetic chemicals are in your air, food, water, and in most of the products you use — many going straight into your body or your child’s body, even before birth.

Your cells interact with about 200 industrial chemicals every day. Until recently, modern science really didn’t grasp what this relentless exposure could mean for your health, but that’s changing.

Global disease rates are on the rise. Most children today will develop a chronic illness of some kind, whereas that was not the case a few decades ago.

Theories about causation abound, yet the issues are complex and often muddied by the maneuvering of political and corporate interests. Many are confused about what to believe.'

How the AMA has conspired to destroy chiropractic and monopolize U.S. healthcare

'The American Medical Association (AMA), which touts itself as the largest association of physicians in the U.S., actively conspired to destroy what it perceived as one of its biggest competitors to allopathic medicine, the chiropractor. This took place in the not too distant past. Today the healing art of chiropractic is still treated by many within the mainstream medical clan as quackery.

Back in 1962, the AMA actually formed a “Committee on Quackery” which lasted until 1974. Then it was publicly exposed by a federal judge to have been established solely for the purpose of leading a conspiracy of “systematic, long-term wrongdoing and the long-term intent to destroy a licensed profession.”'

How to Protect Your Telomeres

'In my post How Much Meditation Do We Need Daily to Combat Stress?, I discussed how stress reduction through meditation might be able to lengthen telomeres, the protective caps at the tips of our chromosomes that tend to deplete as we age.

What about exercise? We can’t always change our situation in life, but we can always go out for a walk. London researchers studied 2,400 twins, and those who exercised more pumped up their telomeres along with their muscles. Apparently it doesn’t take much either. The “heavy” exercise group was only averaging about a half-hour a day.

Healing Support for Cancer: Frankincense

'I first learned of the incredible powers of Frankincense (boswellia serrata, boswellia sacra, boswellia carteri) when researching the benefits of several essential oils a few years back. To say I was impressed by what I learned about Frankincense is an understatement.

Since that time I have worked with several clients with high levels of inflammation, which led me to stumble upon the wonders of Frankincense yet again, this time as Boswellia extract in capsule form. Impressed once again by its potent anti-inflammatory and powerful immune-boosting properties, I read on to learn that frankincense actually increases the body’s supply of white blood cells (lymphocytes), our primary immune defense.'

Which Poses Treat Adrenal Exhaustion?

What poses would you recommend to treat adrenal exhaustion?

—Loretta Stevens

Roger Cole’s reply:

By “adrenal exhaustion” I presume you mean the fatigue that comes from being under chronic stress without sufficient recovery. Yoga practice is great for providing recovery and can also help you deal with stressful circumstances without having such a strong negative reaction. But I encourage you to go beyond just postures and consider the “practice” of yoga rather broadly. If any of the life circumstances that are causing you distress are at all under your control, part of your practice is to change them for the better.

FDA Aims to Censor Essential Oils

'In September of 2014, the FDA began a coordinated attack on companies that market essential oils. The top brands are dōTERRA and Young Living. Both companies offer essential oils to help manage a variety of symptoms ranging from headaches to anxiety to hyperactivity.

Many essential oil users claim to have eliminated the need for over-the-counter medications due to using specific combinations of essential oils to target common maladies.
Back in 2014, Young Living received a warning that you can see on the FDA’s website. It seems they had conducted a thorough search of the Internet, including websites,
Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest, and cited instances that Young Living essential oils were mentioned in conjunction with a medical diagnosis.'

Liver Disease Linked to Gut Bacteria and Leaky Gut

Liver Disease Linked to Gut Bacteria and Leaky Gut

'Much speculation has revolved around the causes for nonalcoholic liver disease and cirrhosis over the years. New findings provide surprising links between our gut bacteria, leaky gut and the liver's health.

Yes, alcohol certainly hurts the liver, and many cases of liver disease are caused by drinking too much. But this is not the only type of liver disease. In fact, chronic liver disease is often of a type called nonalcoholic liver disease.'

Colloidal Silver Is Effective and Much Safer Than Big Pharma’s Antibiotics

'Have you ever heard of anyone burning from the inside out? It’s called Stevens-Johnson syndrome or SJS. This syndrome is gruesome. The whole body begins to blister to the point where an SJS victim needs to be treated as a burn victim. And it’s most often an adverse side effect of antibiotics.

Dr. Joshua Zeichner, a dermatology professor at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan explained, “You’re not truly burned, but what happens is you have compromised the skin barrier function.” He explained that the epidermis separates from the dermis.'

Magnesium is crucial for bone health, says Dr. Carolyn Dean

'For years, the medical establishment has recommended that aging folks supplement with calcium to maintain strong bones and avoid developing osteoporosis. And more recently, science has revealed vitamin D as a necessary nutrient co-factor in the proper absorption of calcium. But millions of people are still grossly deficient in magnesium, an important mineral compound that Dr. Carolyn Dean, M.D., N.D., says is absolutely vital for maintaining proper bone health.'

GET CONTROL OF BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS THE NATURAL WAY

diabetes find causes and sceen for symptoms of type 1 or 2 prevention by dieting or treath with medication or low fat and sugar free diet

'I have a friend whose father has suffered with type 2 diabetes for years.

She’s in her mid-forties, and just found out at a recent doctor’s appointment that her blood sugar levels are high. Further, she was officially diagnosed as having prediabetes, a condition in which blood sugar levels are higher than normal, but not yet high enough to be classified as full-blown diabetes.

It’s not good news. Those with prediabetes are at an increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes within 10 years unless they find a way to get their blood sugar levels under control. They’re also at an increased risk of heart disease.'

Can Fat Prevent Diabetes?

'Dolphins can develop metabolic syndrome, also called prediabetes in humans.

A modified diet higher in heptadecanoic acid, a saturated fat present in some fish and butter, reversed metabolic syndrome in dolphins.

In addition to some fish, C17:0 is present in whole fat dairy products and rye.

NMMF leads ongoing research to understand and improve dolphin health. As part of this work, NMMF scientists previously discovered that bottlenose dolphins – including those in the wild – can develop metabolic syndrome, a subclinical condition called prediabetes in humans.'

How Most 'Health' Studies Are Deceiving You - Anthony Gucciardi

'I’ve been talking about the subject of such studies for years, because it’s such a key issue for me. Let’s use the example of vitamin studies to help you see why.

Time and time again we see scientists presenting ‘conclusive’ research on things like vitamins and minerals. One study will proclaim that vitamin E causes birth defects, while the next will say it helps fetal development. Where in the world are they getting their data?'

The Shocking Truth About Hospitals That Nobody Talks About

'That enormous $153,161.25 hospital bill is easily on par with purchasing a house – except the house would typically be financed over 30 years. Notice the hospital bill was dated or issued on July 13, 2015 and the entire bill is due July 27, 2015. I think even loan sharks and illegal drug dealers would allow a little more time for a payback before ordering a hit.

Tell me again, what kind of country bankrupts its citizens when they are struggling to stay alive in a scary medical emergency and at their most vulnerable?'

When’s the Last Time You Drained Your Lymph Fluids?

lymphatic-system-lymph-nodes-54bf21348d2d6-843x1024

'Your body’s lymph system is the sewage system for even normal metabolic toxins, and more so if there are health issues. Lymph nodes provide antigens for purifying fluids containing anything from allergens to cancer cells. That fluid is simply called lymph. There is more lymph in your body than blood, but unlike blood, there is no pump for lymph.

If lymph doesn’t move out of small lymph nodes through their ducts into the kidneys and liver, it backs up like a clogged sewer line. Lymph nodes can become infected and you wind up with the misnomer of “swollen glands.”'

Be Aware of Serious Adverse Effects from Fluoroquinolone Antibiotics

'Most natural health advocates and consumers know that antibiotics deplete friendly probiotic bacteria, thus requiring some heavy probiotic intake after antibiotics, or simply refraining from antibiotics and using colloidal silver or grapefruit seed extract.

Even worse, there is silent epidemic among thousands who have experienced very severe consequences from a particular type of antibiotic that is too frequently prescribed for even minor infections. Imagine trading a sinus or bladder infection for a life of extreme joint pain, torn tendons or ligaments, neurological issues, sleep deprivation, or long term paralysis.'

Monsanto Ice Cream?

Monsanto has been in the news this week, with a U.S. District Court Judge ruling that the USDA has to at least go through the motions of regulating the company's genetically engineered sugar beets.

Monsanto, you may know, is not likely to win any contests for the most popular company. In fact, it has been called the most hated corporation in the world, which is saying something, given the competition from the likes of BP, Halliburton and Goldman Sachs.

This has gotten me thinking about, of all things, ice cream, and of how Monsanto's clammy paws can be found in some of the most widely selling ice cream brands in the country.'
