'The latest research says that one fruit may really have huge health benefits. At least for folks fighting the effects of Alzheimer's disease (AD). This is welcome news for some 36 million people worldwide with the disease.'
'For the past 35 years, Project Censored has published an annual collection of the top 25 censored news stories. In the2012 book edition, just released this September, my article,Atmospheric Geoengineering: Weather Manipulation, Contrails and Chemtrails, ranks as the 9th most censored story in the United States. Originally published at the Centre for Research on Globalizationin July 2010, an updated version at COTO Report has seen over 13,000 page views as of this writing. The article is widely posted across the world in several English and non-English speaking countries, giving it far broader readership than we’ll ever know, but likely over a million.'
'Farmer and raw-milk crusader Michael Schmidt has launched another hunger strike in his nearly five-year legal battle to make Ontario the only province to legalize the sale of unpasteurized milk. The move comes after the Ontario Court of Justice on Wednesday found Schmidt guilty of selling and distributing raw milk and raw-milk products.
In a 77-page decision, Ontario Justice Peter Tetley convicted Schmidt of 15 of the 19 criminal offences charged under the province’s Health Protection and Promotion Act and the Milk Act. In January 2010, Schmidt was found not guilty of 19 charges related to his cow-share business. This week’s decision essentially reverses the acquittal and now Schmidt may face fines, but is unlikely to see jail time.'
The Vaccine Establishment’s SAFETY Debate: Use of Thimerosal in vaccines Versus the admittedly dangerous use of methylmercury
'The immediacy of Richard Louv's message in Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder galvanized an international movement to reconnect children with nature.
Now, in The Nature Principle, Louv reaches even further with a powerful call to action for the rest of us. Our society, says Louv, has developed such an outsized faith in technology that we have yet to fully realize or even adequately study how human capacities are enhanced through the power of nature.
Supported by groundbreaking research, anecdotal evidence, and compelling personal stories, Louv shows us how tapping into the restorative powers of the natural world can boost mental acuity and creativity; promote health and wellness; build smarter and more sustainable businesses, communities, and economies; and ultimately strengthen human bonds.
As he says in his introduction, The Nature Principle is "about the power of living in nature—not with it, but in it. We are entering the most creative period in history. The twenty-first century will be the century of human restoration in the natural world."
Richard Louv makes a convincing case that through a nature-balanced existence—driven by sound economic, social, and environmental solutions—the human race can and will thrive. This timely, inspiring, and important work will give readers renewed hope while challenging them to rethink the way we live.'
What if we spent as much time immersed in nature as we do in technology?
'That’s the question Richard Louv sought to answer when writing his latest book, The Nature Principle. Our society, says Louv, has developed such an outsized faith in technology that we have yet to fully realize or even adequately study how human capacities are enhanced through the power of nature.
The book suggests that “nature deficit disorder,” a term Louv coined in Last Child In The Woods, doesn’t only apply to children.
Louv’s “Nature Principle” consists of seven precepts, including balancing technology excess with time in nature; a mind/body/nature connection, which Louv calls “vitamin N,” that enhances physical and mental health; expanding our sense of community to include all living things; and purposefully developing a spiritual, psychological, physical attachment to a region and its natural history.
Supported by groundbreaking research, anecdotal evidence, and compelling personal stories, The Nature Principle shows us how tapping into the restorative powers of the natural world can boost mental acuity and creativity; promote health and wellness; build smarter and more sustainable businesses, communities, and economies; and ultimately strengthen human bonds.'
'I first took a close look at treatments for mental illness 15 years ago while researching an article for Scientific American. At the time, sales of a new class of antidepressants, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRI's, were booming. The first SSRI, Prozac, had quickly become the most widely prescribed drug in the world. Many psychiatrists, notably Peter D. Kramer, author of the best seller Listening to Prozac, touted SSRI's as a revolutionary advance in the treatment of mental illness. Prozac, Kramer said in a phrase that I hope now haunts him, could make patients "better than well." '
'Are you getting what you pay for on your plate? The recent class-action lawsuit brought against Taco Bell raised questions about the quality of food many Americans eat each day. Chief among those concerns is the use of cellulose (read: wood pulp), an extender whose use in a roster of food products, from crackers and ice creams to puddings and baked goods, is now being exposed. What you're actually paying for -- and consuming -- may be surprising.'
'Tobacco companies and pharmaceutical companies share so many commonalities and industry practices, that it is quite difficult to deny their ideological similarities. Besides the fact that both have used medical doctors to push their products, here are 5 other examples.
1. They both keep harmful findings of their products from the public.
Manufacturers from both Big Tobacco (BT) and Big Pharma (BP) deny the presence of any danger in their products and even spend millions of dollars trying to discredit the research that points to problems.'
'It’s October and the time for unbelievably naive “Walks” for … cures? Who are we kidding?
There has been an almost complete cure for AIDS for years. It requires only IV vitamin C. This past Christmas as a gift to pharma, FDA issued a Warning Letter to McGuff Pharmaceuticals claiming that certain injectable Vitamin C products were unapproved new drugs.
Walks for cancer cures? Again, who are we kidding?
The pharmaceutical industry in concert with the NIH and FDA has done everything short of execution to stop doctors and scientists who are coming up with actual cures.
Perhaps people need to be reminded what became apparent to Burzynski: Cancer is a serious business. Perhaps they need to be told that the government only recognizes three treatments for cancer – Cut, Poison, Burn.'

NATOMAS, CA – 'Natomas school officials are going door to door with a traveling nurse to give whooping cough shots to unvaccinated students.
A new state law requires students entering seventh through 12th grades to get vaccinated against the disease by the start of the 2011-12 school year.
The legislature gave districts 30 days beyond the start of the school year to make sure all students were vaccinated or had a formal exemption filed by their parents or guardians.
As the deadline passes, thousands of students remain unvaccinated. Many school districts have been defying state law and allowing them on campus.'

COMMENT: This outrageous video shows the intimidation tactics of the system being ramped up to once again trick parents into vaccine compliance with the hoax that vaccinations are required (when there is and has been a waiver, as well as a natural right, allowing parents to opt out). Now, by going door to door, the system is tip-toeing towards coercive vaccinations, while the media lapdog readily portrays these parents as negligent and the students as truant (when the student in this video was evidently enrolled in some form of independent study). Will CPS next travel in tandem with the school officer and the traveling doctor? Alex Jones will cover this and other aspects of this deceptive and harmful story in a special report tomorrow. Tune into the Infowars Nightly News for more.'
Lessons Not Learned: More Than 60% of Americans Still Plan On
Getting Flu Vaccine?
'After all the accessible information available to the U.S. population on the dangers of vaccines, new survey data shows the message may not be getting through to the majority of people. Nearly two-thirds of U.S. adults plan to be vaccinated against the flu this season.
Since the source of the survey comes from the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases, the results may certainly be skewed, exaggerated or purposely and maliciously erroneous to convince the population of compliance. The opposite may be true. Recall a poll during the 2009 H1N1 scare where 1,678 U.S. parents were interviewed by the University of Michigan's C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, and only 40% said they would get their children immunized against the H1N1 virus.'
'I failed the first time I tried to make bread. As a matter of fact, I failed the first 10 times I tried to make bread. I was in college and had decided to give breadmaking a try in the days before classes were widely available.
NYPD Ordered to Stop Marijuana Possession Arrests
'New York City may soon shed its infamous reputation as the pot bust capital of the world. Police Commissioner Ray Kelly Monday issued an internal order to the NYPD telling officers they can no longer arrest people for marijuana possession in public view if the marijuana was not in public view before officers either searched the person and produced it or the person produced it after an officer's demand that he empty his pockets.'
'It's touted as a little daily miracle--the mainstream has long celebrated aspirin as a magic potion for warding off heart attack and death in people with cardiovascular disease. Of course, we know better than that.
For years now, aspirin has been linked to a slew of health problems including fertility problems in the next generation and hearing problems. Then there's the bleeding. Most recently, I told you about more research into the link between aspirin and stomach bleeding.'

You may recognize Jim Navarro from the documentary film Cut Poison Burn, which I recently posted. You can watch the entire film for free. If you haven't seen it yet, I urge you to take the time to view it now.
Jim is the father of Thomas Navarro, who at the age of four was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a type of brain cancer. The family ended up in a protracted battle against the medical monopoly after objecting to the conventional treatment, choosing instead to seek out less invasive, less damaging, and less life threatening approaches. However, the medical system's response was swift and callous.
In fact, in the months that followed Thomas' diagnosis, the family went into hiding to keep their son away from the authorities who threatened to take him into custody, charging Jim and Donna Navarro with child abuse and neglect.

"Tapped: The Movie," by Stephanie Soechtig, is a film that examines the role of the bottled water industry and its effects on health, climate change, pollution, and reliance on oil. The film begins with the shocking statement: "By 2030, two-thirds of the world will be lacking access to clean drinking water." Several factors play a role in whether or not this frightful estimation will become a reality—one of which is the corporate control of drinking water.
'Men considering having a vasectomy, convinced by their doctors that there are no detrimental health effects, may want to think even more carefully about their decision. Two large studies reported recently add to earlier evidence that a vasectomy may increase a man's risk of developing prostate cancer. Moreover, vasectomies can cause chromosomal abnormalities in sperm itself.
As comedian Benny Ross has stated "the inventor of vasectomies must of been a prison warden...who else would prevent these rambunctious little swimmers from getting to their destination."
Humour aside, vasectomies are no laughing matter.'
"... These days, the professions of chiropractic and naturopathy and acupuncture have, at the highest levels, sold their souls to allopathic medicine and federal regulators—thinking that Obamacare, in its fine print, will protect them into the future, because they can bill for insurance, and all will be well. Therefore, for them, the fight for health freedom is over. They think they’ve actually won.
'Red cabbage contains 36 different varieties of anthocyanins, a class of flavonoids that have been linked to cancer protection, according to a new study conducted by researchers from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.'
'Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you look at things, I, Tim Bolen, have become a primary information source about an organization that, for purposes of intentional misinformation, calls itself "the quackbusters."
I have OTHER NAMES for them. So do their victims. Some of those names, but not most, can be used in polite company.
Again, unfortunately, a current definition of who and what these people are, is not information that sits comfortably with most of my readers.
Because what I am about to tell you is not conversation for a family Sunday Dinner Table.
The audio tapes, and the video tapes, I link to, to make my case, so-to-speak, will make most people physically ill. But they clearly identify, in strong graphic rendition, exactly what the psychological makeup of the current quackbuster operation actually is.
But, one must know the enemy. Even if it's just to know their neck size for the noose, so to speak.'
'Monsanto, the world's largest seed company, is known for developing engineered crops (i.e. corn and soybeans) that end up in many of the food products found on grocery store aisles, as well as in fibers and animal feed. Up until now, the company's GM crops have only been available in processed foods--in other words, in little bits and pieces. But now Monsanto is making a move into the consumer market with GM sweet corn, which will be found in a supermarket produce bin or farmer's market near you starting this fall.'
Infowars Nightly News Sept 22, 2011 'Alex delves into the history of the Rockefeller Foundation’s promotion and funding of the HPV vaccine. Why would elitists who openly advocate draconian population reduction measures be trusted to create vaccines that have led to thousands of illnesses and scores of deaths in the case of the HPV shot alone? In a related matter, Alex delves into why cancer has risen despite billions in research and a bevy of vaccines supposedly designed to prevent the illness.' iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/18am5cLs03k" width="560">
