The Pharmaceutical Drug Cartel Launches World War III To Prevent the Construction of a Healthy World

Never before in the history of mankind was a greater crime committed than the genocide organized by the pharmaceutical drug cartel in the interest of the multibillion-dollar investment business with disease. Hundreds of millions of people have died unnecessarily from AIDS, cancer, heart disease and other preventable diseases and the only reason that these epidemics are still haunting mankind is that they are the multibillion-dollar marketplace for the pharmaceutical drug cartel.

Never before in history was there a larger, more profitable and bloodier fraud than that perpetrated by the pharmaceutical drug cartel. Over almost a century it has built a global monopoly in health care based on fraud: the drug industry promises health to millions of people yet the entire industry depends on the continuation and expansion of diseases as the market places for their patented drugs.

Never before were the accomplices to this global drug-genocide more desperate about hiding this fraud and their crimes against humanity. They were never more anxious to prevent the collapse of this unscrupulous investment industry and the extinction of their fraud business with losses amounting to thousands of billions of dollars.

Never before were the financial groups behind the drug cartel, namely the Rockefeller and J.P. Morgan investment groups and their political puppets in the White House and 10 Downing Street, more worried that they will be held responsible in national and international courts for their crimes against humanity.

Never before were the profiteers of this global genocide and their political stakeholders in the US, UK and other countries forced to spend more money in order to prevent the imminent collapse of the global empire of the drug cartel.

Never before were the drug cartel and its stakeholders in medicine, the media and their storm troopers in the streets more eager to silence those who expose this global fraud and genocide. That is the background of the attacks against the Dr. Rath Health Foundation, against traditional medicine and against the government of South Africa.

The Year of the Swine (flu)

Swine Flu Fraud

From the Health Sciences Institute

For most of 2009, it's been the Year of the Ox in China .

For everywhere else: Year of the Swine. Swine flu, that is. And what better place to start our year-end recap of the Top Outrages of 2009 than with the fearsome H1N1 "pandemic."

I put "pandemic" in quotes because (here's
Outrage Number One) it would never have been a pandemic at all if World Health Organization officials hadn't actually changed their definition of the word.

Before May 2009, a pandemic required "enormous numbers of deaths and illness." Once those six words were removed from the definition, the pandemic was on! And so was the gold rush. Governments all over the world placed orders for hundreds of millions H1N1 vaccine doses.

Just two months later (
Outrage Number Two), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised state health officials to do two things. 1) Stop testing patients for H1N1. 2) Stop counting cases of H1N1.

A CBS News reporter thought that was a bizarre move in the middle of a pandemic. So she asked CDC officials: Why stop testing and counting? The CDC response: No comment. So the reporter went state to state, checking on flu numbers and found that confirmed H1N1 cases accounted for only a small fraction of the total number of flu-like illnesses.

Gee. It's almost as if there were no pandemic at all!

As the year closes, the only thing we can say for sure about H1N1 is that this mild flu has sold a boatload of vaccines that have been slow to arrive.

One word: Outrageous!

Forbidden Medicine

Hundreds of people who wrote to the court in Jimmy Keller's defense in 1991 thought so. Many wrote that he had kept their cancers in remission when nothing else would. This is the true story of a man who cured himself of a near-fatal cancer after conventional medicine had mutilated and then abandoned him. He spent the next thirty years helping others with the disease. In the struggle to keep his clinic open, he faced raids and robberies, a near-fatal beating, a kidnapping, and a prison sentence many called justice gone wrong. The details of his therapies, and the history and vicissitudes of the non-traditional health care movement that his life personifies, are woven throughout his story. While politicians debate how to impose Modern Medicine on us all, this story needs to be retold.

The need for alternative viewpoints and a broader spectrum of analysis is widely needed, and is fulfilled in Forbidden Medicine. At a stage in the evolution of mankind in which we need to pool all efforts towards a better understanding of the healing process, Ellen Brown's writings prove to be a valuable contribution.
- Carlos Warter, M.D., Ph.D., Author of Recovery of the Sacred

The story of Jimmy Keller, a purveyor of formulas said to cure cancer, and a purported "quack," is a story every American should know, and every cancer patient should take to heart. The cancer statistics speak for themselves -- "the war on cancer" is a travesty.
- Review by Irene Alleger in Townsend Letter for Doctors

What an incredible irony. Millions of Americans have died from cancer in the last 20 years, yet here we have a man who can put about 90% of people (who have not been treated with chemotherapy/radiation) into lengthy remission using natural non-toxic therapies, but he is attacked and imprisoned for saving lives. Why?
- Gavin Phillips, “Highly Recommended Books,”

Keller's story highlights the sharp divide between orthodox and alternative/holistic approaches. Five stars.

Jimmy Keller

Jimmy Keller passed away on April 3, 2009, at the age of 75. A very inspiring and moving eulogy given by his son Jim Keller is reprinted below:

'For those that may not know me, I am Jim Keller, Jimmy's son. Mom, my sister Joyce, and my brother David and I would like to thank everyone for joining us today.

This last phase of Dad's life has been a difficult road. But there were many blessings after his stroke, and I especially want to thank two of those blessings, his care givers, Candi Moses and Topsie Jackson, for making that road much easier for Dad and our whole family.

Spicy Italian Vegetarian Sausages
Makes 8 links

2 1/4 cups vital wheat gluten
1/2 cup nutritional yeast flakes
1/4 cup chickpea flour
2 tbsp Bills Best Chik’Nish Seasoning (if using another brand which is salty, or saltier than Bill’s Best, you’ll want to greatly reduce the amount you use)
2 tbsp granulated onion
1 to 2 tbsp fennel seed, optional
2 tsp coarsely ground pepper, preferably freshly ground
2 tsp ground paprika
1 tsp dried chili flakes, optional
1 tsp ground smoked paprika
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground allspice
2 1/4 cups cool water*
6 to 8 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp soy sauce

1. In a large bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients. Whisk together the water, garlic, olive oil and soy sauce and using a fork, gently stir into the dry ingredients. Stir just until ingredients are mixed. If dough mixture is too dry, you can add another tablespoon of water or as needed.

2. Scoop 1/2 cup dough mixture at a time and shape into logs. Place logs on piece of aluminum foil and roll up, twisting ends. Place sausages in steamer and steam for 30 minutes. Once sausages have cooled, remove from foil and refrigerate until ready to eat. After cooling, the sausages may feel a bit dry on the outside. Don’t worry, as they will soften and firm up considerably after chilling.

Variation: You can shape the dough into little patties instead of links. If you don’t want to use aluminum foil, you can wrap the links in damp muslin or tea towel and tie ends with cotton twine.

Top 15 Houseplants for Improving Indoor Air Quality

'In the late 1980s, a study by NASA and the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA) was conducted to find ways to purify the air for extended stays in orbiting space stations. The study resulted in excellent news for homeowners and office workers everywhere, because it concluded that common houseplants not only make indoor spaces more attractive, they also help to purify the air!

While it’s a well known fact that plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen through photosynthesis, the NASA/ALCA study showed that many houseplants also remove harmful elements such as trichloroethylene, benzene, and formaldehyde from the air.'

Mistletoe cures woman’s cancer after she shuns chemotherapy

Cure: Joan van Holsteijn had injections of mistletoe to treat her cancer

'A cancer sufferer has told how mistletoe saved her life after she shunned conventional treatments.

Joan van Holsteijn put her faith in the healing properties of the plant, which is more commonly associated with Yuletide romance.

She turned down potentially life-saving chemotherapy and instead had injections of misteltoe.

Amazingly, it has worked wonders: the tumours in her leg are now gone and she’s well on the road to recovery.

Mrs van Holsteijn, from Milltimber in Aberdeenshire, said: ‘I owe my life to misteltoe. I feel so grateful and well and healthy. I’ve got my life back, all thanks to the plant.

‘I have never had it in the house before but this year I’ve got a sprig of misteltoe at my front door. I want everyone to know about it.’

The 53-year-old, originally from Holland, sought medical advice after a painful lump the size of an egg developed on her leg. Doctors diagnosed her with non-Hodgkins lymphoma.

Her specialist recommended doses of chemotherapy. But Joan, a therapist at the Camphill special needs school, didn’t want to go down that route.

She said: ‘I was very scared. I was scared of the cancer, and scared of chemo because you can become so ill from it.

It runs down your immune system to the point where you don’t feel well. Even if you get better from the cancer you still have to deal with the treatment.

‘Usually patients try chemotherapy then mistletoe, but I didn’t want to do that.’

She was given injections of a medicine made from mistletoe berries at Park Attwood Clinic in Birmingham.

Within six months the lump on her leg had shrunk. After 18 months it was gone completely, along with other tumours.'

Many of my articles on medical issues cite evidence you can use in discussions or articles of your own.

It’s my hope that you will be able to argue points intelligently, even when opposed by self-appointed experts.

Here are several talking points concerning the efficacy of flu vaccines which contain inactivated viruses. Most flu vaccines are the inactivated type.

The citation is BMJ 2006;333:912-915 (28 October), doi:10.1136/bmj.38995.531701.80 Analysis and comment Public health Influenza vaccination: policy versus evidence Tom Jefferson, coordinator1 1 Cochrane Vaccines Field, Anguillara Sabazia, Roma 00061, Italy

These are Jefferson’s summary points in his overview-analysis of flu-vaccine efficacy:

“Public policy worldwide recommends the use of inactivated influenza vaccines to prevent seasonal outbreaks.

“Because viral circulation and antigenic match vary each year and non-randomised studies predominate, systematic reviews of large datasets from several decades provide the best information on vaccine performance.

“Evidence from systematic reviews shows that inactivated vaccines have little or no effect on the effects measured.

“Most studies are of poor methodological quality and the impact of confounders is high.

“Little comparative evidence exists on the safety of these vaccines.

“Reasons for the current gap between policy and evidence are unclear, but given the huge resources involved, a re-evaluation should be urgently undertaken.”

In short, Jefferson sees no convincing evidence that these vaccines work in the ways medical bureaucrats claim they do.

This is a devastating criticism, especially since Jefferson works as a researcher for the highly respected Cochrane Database.

Essential Oils Fight MRSA Infections

'A pair of orthopaedic surgeons report that two essential oils--eucalyptus and tea-tree oil--are surprisingly effective at treating methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections.

Despite the positive findings, though, others say it is too soon to consider such oils an alternative to antibiotics.

The researchers presented their findings here at the 69th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Eugene Sherry of the University of Sydney in Australia said that, applied to the skin of infected wounds an antibacterial wash derived from Eucalyptus radiata and Melaleuca alternifolia--better known as eucalyptus and tea-tree oil--can work when modern antibiotics fail.'

More anti-MRSA essential oil research

'Just came across a prerelease publication on PubMed of an article proving that specific essential oils are effective against hospital acquired infections, including MRSA. Strains of staph, strep and Candida were tested.

Eucalyptus, Tea tree, Thyme white, Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Cinnamon, Grapefruit, Clove Bud, Sandalwood, Peppermint, Kunzea and Sage oil were all tested with the agar diffusion test. Olive oil, Paraffin oil, Ethanol (70%), Povidone iodine, Chlorhexidine and hydrogen peroxide (H(2)O(2)) served as controls.

"Large prevailing effective zones of inhibition were observed for Thyme white, Lemon, Lemongrass and Cinnamon oil. The other oils also showed considerable efficacy. Remarkably, almost all tested oils demonstrated efficacy against hospital-acquired isolates and reference strains, whereas Olive and Paraffin oil from the control group produced no inhibition. As proven in vitro, essential oils represent a cheap and effective antiseptic topical treatment option even for antibiotic-resistant strains as MRSA and antimycotic-resistant Candida species."

Of course they don't give the chemotype of Thyme, nor which Cinnamon oil was used, but once again, Essential oils are proven as effective as the more conventional prescription medications.'

The Media: Pandemics and Power By Jane Burgermeister

'Jane Burgermeister talks of the mainstream media’s role in shaping the public perception of a flu pandemic that is designed to promote an elitist agenda of mass vaccination and centralisation of power.

Jane Burgermeister was born in Switzerland of an Irish mother and an Austrian father. She is a dual Irish/Austrian national and lives in Vienna, Austria.

With an MA Honours degree from Edinburgh University, Scotland, she has written for Nature, the British Medical Journal, The Scientist, Reuters Health, and The Guardian among other publications.

She was European Correspondent for the website of Renewable Energy World, a position from which she was suddenly dismissed in July 2009 after filing a series of criminal charges against Baxter, WHO and others alleging bioterrorism with the intent to commit mass murder.

The focus of the action is an episode in February 2009 when Baxter’s Austrian subsidiary distributed 72 kilos of vaccine material contaminated with live bird flu virus to sixteen laboratories, a case now being investigated by the Austrian police after criminal charges were filed in April 8th in Vienna.

More charges were filed with the FBI (US embassy, Vienna) in June.

Canadian doctor Ghislaine Lanctot — who has written a book, The Medical Mafia´– supported these charges against the WHO, the UN, and several high ranking government and corporate officials.'

Get This -- The Council of Foreign Relations Enters the Vaccine Biz

'The closure of 2009 marks a unique moment in the history of America's healthcare and national health policies. First we were told that a pandemic of swine flu was upon us, which would make us all susceptible to a ravishing tide of medical complications and death. We were told pregnant women, young children and senior citizens should be first in line to receive the H1N1 vaccine, although no studies provided credible evidence of either the vaccine's efficacy or safety for these groups. We were also persuaded repeatedly by the CDC and the media to place our faith in the heroic attempts of the vaccine industrial complex, our federal health officials and the Obama administration to bring these vaccines to market as quickly as possible.

'In our state of New York, both the swine flu and seasonal flu vaccines were made mandatory to tens of thousands of healthcare workers. Indeed, as a nation, we rose to the occasion. One of the most prolific and expensive public health initiatives in American history was undertaken, and every major media outlet daily encouraged people to get vaccinated.'

Imigination is the Key That Opens the Inner Door to Quantum Healing

Salvador DalĂ. The Persistence of Memory. 1931

DEEPAK CHOPRA: Quantum healing is healing the bodymind from a quantum level. That means from a level which is not manifest at a sensory level. Our bodies ultimately are fields of information, intelligence and energy. Quantum healing involves a shift in the fields of energy information, so as to bring about a correction in an idea that has gone wrong. So quantum healing involves healing one mode of consciousness, mind, to bring about changes in another mode of consciousness, body.

We all come to the crossroad where we make the deep choices. How will we live our lives?

I envision a contrast. There is the rabbit. I see him hopping forward, munching plants. He hops, he munches, he hops again, and he munches.

That is how he goes. Eating the next thing. Moving to the next piece of nourishment. Finding small satisfactions just ahead of him on the path of time.

He may be thinking about some giant leap. We don’t know. But he doesn’t take it. He just pushes on. He finds no other way.

The contrast is Pegasus, the flying winged horse. Here, from Shakespeare, Henry V:
"When I bestride him [Pegasus], I
soar, I am a hawk: he trots the air; the earth
sings when he touches it; the basest horn of his
hoof is more musical than the pipe of Hermes."

There is always an inclination to believe that every person is endowed with small or large abilities, and must make peace with what has been given.

Why? Because it seems a comfortable view of existence. Estimate your role in the grand play, and then live it out.

In fact, go one step further. Arrange (yes, arrange) your perceptions so that they come around and feed back to you a confirmation that you are correct; you have seen your proper role; you have found it; and now you can act the part.

See only and precisely what is necessary for the role. When you do that, you are home. Don’t see more. That would be confusing.

This is a good description of self-imposed mind control.

But then, in the world literature, we come across quotes like these:

“The world is but a canvas to the imagination.” (Henry David Thoreau)

“Probably the difference between men and the monkeys is that the monkeys are merely bored, while man has boredom plus imagination.” (Lin Yutang)

“The only way to find the limits of the possible is by going beyond them to the impossible.” (Arthur C Clarke)

“Do not quench your inspiration and your imagination; do not become the slave of your model.” (Vincent Van Gogh)

“Everything you can imagine is real.” (Pablo Picasso)

“Imagination is the living power and prime agent of all human perception.” (Samuel Taylor Coleridge)

“The gift of fantasy has meant more to me than my talent for absorbing positive knowledge.” (Albert Einstein)

“The human race is governed by its imagination.” (Thomas B Macaulay)

“Formerly, we used to represent things visible on earth, things we either liked to look at or would have liked to see. Today we reveal the reality that is behind visible things, thus expressing our belief that the visible world is merely an isolated case in relation to the universe and that there are many more other, latent realities…” (Paul Klee)

“One day it will have to be officially admitted that what we have christened reality is an even greater illusion than the world of dreams.” (Salvador Dali)

“All the works of man have their origin in creative fantasy. What right have we then to depreciate imagination?” (Carl Jung)

When you take up imagination, you embark on the great work and the great adventure. You don’t have to travel. You don’t have to change a visible thing in your life. You will make those changes, later.

The light on the bridge at night says: you are here; you are at the place where you make a decision; to be what you have been, or to engage the energy of new islands of realities.

The Perks: Health Benefits of Coffee

'When it comes to life's necessities, many of us would say a good cup of coffee ranks pretty darned high – right up there with shelter, friends, and comfortable shoes. But there's more to love about your morning java than its alluring aroma or friendly kick. Once maligned (too much caffeine! the devil's brew!), coffee is now being praised as a kind of health food, thanks to its high level of disease-fighting antioxidants and other nutrients. In fact, the coffee bean's roasting process actually intensifies some of these compounds, making them more powerful.

'The bottom line? As long as you don't overdo it – stick to no more than two or three cups a day, and watch
the calories in those fancy lattes – there's no reason not to indulge. Here are some of the ways coffee can make you feel better and even live longer – plus tasty ways to enjoy your joe.'

How Monsanto Owns and Manipulates the World's Food Supply

'Monsanto's methods are spelled out in a series of confidential commercial licensing agreements obtained by the AP. The contracts, as long as 30 pages, include basic terms for the selling of engineered crops resistant to Monsanto's Roundup herbicide, along with shorter supplementary agreements that address new Monsanto traits or other contract amendments.

The company has used the agreements to spread its technology — giving some 200 smaller companies the right to insert Monsanto's genes in their separate strains of corn and soybean plants. But, the AP found, access to Monsanto's genes comes at a cost, and with plenty of strings attached.

For example, one contract provision bans independent companies from breeding plants that contain both Monsanto's genes and the genes of any of its competitors, unless Monsanto gives prior written permission — giving Monsanto the ability to effectively lock out competitors from inserting their patented traits into the vast share of U.S. crops that already contain Monsanto's genes.'

She was Board Certified in Family Practice, a member in good standing of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Practice. In 10 years of medical practice, she has received numerous commendations, including one from the Governor. She had no malpractice cases or complaints in those 10 years. Here follows, in her own words, how the State took away her medical license for treating patients with nutrition and common sense, instead of with drugs.)

“In 1999, the NY State Health Department began an investigation of me and requested a patient’s records. I gave them the records. They then said that they wanted to see the records of the 4,000 patients who had seen me over the prior 10 years because this case represented a pattern of “inappropriate” (that is, “natural”) practice. I refused the search because it was not a pattern, only one case. The Health Department then changed the reason to one case of “negligence or incompetence.” I refused because the therapy was effective, therefore this case could not be a case of negligence or incompetence. The Health Department then changed the charges to “non-cooperation” because I refused to allow them to see the charts of 4,000 patients unrelated to the initial case.

“I have retained numerous attorneys. The State threatened one of my attorneys and told her that they would investigate her and fine her or remove her license if she filed any legal action on my behalf. She resigned. Photographs and an eyewitness affidavit then became available indicating that the complaint was false. I was subjected to a one-day hearing and allowed no witnesses. A copy of the patient chart as well as the evidence that the complaint was false was excluded from the hearing. I was convicted of non-cooperation. The penalty by law is a letter of warning. I received a license suspension. A suspension by law should be finite. Mine is forever. The law states that the Health Department has no jurisdiction to investigate therapy that is effective; I was investigated anyway. Case law says the State may not use a false complaint as a basis for an investigation. The complaint is false, yet I was investigated. The prosecutor in my case, with the cooperation of the judge, suppressed exculpatory evidence. This is prosecutorial misconduct.

“Here I am, a 45-year-old single, unemployed mother of three children aged 9, 12,and 15. If I had been a mother sooner, the children would be grown by now and I would be better off. Instead, I borrowed money and spent 14 years of my youth getting an education only to practice medicine for 10 years and have my license taken away without cause.

“My license was suspended 18 months ago. Then, I was the last African American solo family practice physician in the Syracuse area. My medical practice was located in a medically underserved ghetto. Now it is closed.

“I feel it is important to let you know that my situation is the very reason that competent physicians are hard to find, and the reason why doctors refuse to listen to their patients or offer options. You are invited to contact me.”

The Pharmaceutical "Business with Disease"

'There is an entire industry with an innate economic interest to obstruct, suppress and discredit any information about the eradication of diseases. The pharmaceutical industry makes over one trillion dollars from selling drugs for ongoing diseases. These drugs may relieve symptoms, but they do not cure. We have to realize that the mission of this industry is to make money from ongoing diseases. The cure or eradication of a disease leads to the collapse of a multi-billion dollar market of pharmaceuticals.

I encourage you to read the key points about the nature of the pharmaceutical business and to think about each of them. Now you will understand why we are bombarded with advertising campaigns by pharmaceutical companies wanting to make us believe that they are “Searching for Cures” “Striving for the Eradication of Diseases” or “Increasing Life Expectancy” and other false promises. With these deceptive statements, the pharmaceutical industry has for decades been able to disguise the true nature of its business – maximum profit from ongoing diseases.'

How to Make Sauerkraut & Other Fermented Vegetables

'Ever wondered how to make sauerkraut? It sounds so intimidating, doesn’t it? So scary. So hard. At least until you’ve made it once. Then you realize how ridiculously easy it is and wonder why you never did it before!

It doesn’t take that much time, particularly if you let a food processor do your chopping. And there are countless ways to vary it once you get the idea down. You can make your own lacto-fermented salsas, your own dill pickles, your own relishes. You can even make the most colorful sauerkraut on earth, just like Sandor Katz does in the video below.

Five Ways To Reduce Inflammation Naturally

'What happened the last time you felt pain in your body? Did you reach for an ibuprofen or go to your doctor for a prescription drug? If so, you may have suppressed your single most essential bodily function for healing. Too often we think of inflammation as something to get rid of and instead choose to medicate our pain, swelling, or stiffness with drugs like Advil or Celebrex in an attempt to relieve the discomfort. However, what you might not know is that inflammation is, in fact, a critically important defense mechanism. It's our natural siren to alert us that a body part needs attention -- much like the call from the firehouse, which moves firefighters to action.'

Entering The Ukraine Flu Zone: "Today, you can find many newspapers asking 'was there an epidemic at all?"

'I think the pandemic they released was a dud.'
-- David Dees

"Our media [Ukrainian] was first in line to hype the epidemic, not only the foreign media. For a few days all TV channels would have swine flu as a number one topic. That was a period when people were storming pharmacies to get masks and antivirals. Then somehow conflicting messages started appearing on TV from respected professionals saying nothing extraordinary is happening and that last year the flu death toll was about same or worse. So the panic started decreasing until some switch happened in peoples mind when everybody started thinking that was a political move more than a real threat."

How to Make a Non-Toxic Cleaning Kit

'Most modern synthetic cleaning products are based on age-old formulas using natural ingredients that were passed down through the generations because the chemistry was right. Going back to the original naturally derived ingredients is a way to make cleaning products that work, don’t pollute and save you money. Most are found in your kitchen cupboards. Mix and match with well-chosen and environmentally friendly green cleaning products found in health food stores, and you can easily and simply transform your home into a non-toxic and healthy haven.

Non-toxic cleaning can give you a deep feeling of gratification in knowing that your family’s health is protected, and that your home is a place for your bodies to rest and recuperate rather than promote harm.'

Big Government and Big Pharma Suppression of Medical Marijuana

By Mark Sircus Ac., OMD

'The American College of Physicians (ACP) issued a new policy statement last week endorsing medical marijuana use. The group is urging the government to reverse its ban on medical treatments using marijuana. "ACP encourages the use of non-smoked forms of THC (the main psychoactive element in marijuana) that have proven therapeutic value," the new policy statement said. The Philadelphia-based organization, the second largest doctors group in the United States, cited studies into marijuana’s medical applications such as treating severe weight loss associated with illnesses such as AIDS, and treating nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy for cancer patients.

'Medical marijuana is becoming more and more associated with anti-carcinogenic effects, which are responsible in preventing or delaying the development of cancer. This means that cannabinoids offer cancer patients a therapeutic option in the treatment of highly invasive cancers.'

Big Pharma: A Real War against Drugs

Big Pharma's Drug War

'Back in 1976 Henry Gadsden, chief executive of Merck, just before retirement lamented to Fortune magazine the tragedy that his company’s market was limited only to those who were afflicted with illness when his dream had long been to sell to healthy people, therefore having a market that potentially included every person in the world. Well one can imagine the internal chuckle Mr. Gadsden would have enjoyed scanning the New York Times front page on September 2nd, 2009 (a day before the Pfizer settlement was announced) where it was gloriously revealed, this in a headline of course, Taking Big Risk for Big Payoff, Industry Seeks Cancer Drugs.” The article bluntly explains that, after years of the industry ignoring the fatal disease, recent scientific breakthroughs and the opportunity to charge people dying from cancer outrageous amounts of money is finally too tempting to resist.'

'It’s ironic that the Times alludes in passing that drug companies have become perhaps the most powerful force in the country by fulfilling Gadsden’s utopian vision of treating the healthy. Through infinite amounts of marketing and promotion, including consumer advertisements in the form of countless TV ads the kind of which are illegal in all other industrial nations (except New Zealand), and even more effort aimed at co-opting the medical establishment through high paying consulting jobs and ‘continuing education’ seminars for doctors as well as an army of sales people pushing their wares all over the country, drug companies have built vast empires selling mostly the same potentially dangerous drugs of questionable effectiveness under different brand names for allegedly chronic, so called ‘lifestyle’ conditions, the number of which continue to grow practically exponentially'.

I have to begin by saying you need to know about Walter Burien.

Walter curls people’s hair. For many years, he has been investigating the investments made by governments. The what? I know. This sounds like a non-sequitur. Governments aren’t businesses, are they?

It turns out they are. Well, when you think about it, it’s obvious. They run, for example, retirement funds for their employees, and those funds make investments, they don’t just store money in shoe boxes.

Recently, Walter provided a link to the New York State Retirement Fund Asset Listing (March 31, 2006). You can find it at:

This document shows the investments this fund makes, and the value of each stock holding. The implications are enormous. For example, when you pinpoint the many pharmaceutical stocks, you realize New York State government will be a primary beneficiary of any national health plan. Why? Because drug companies, under such a plan, will be selling far more drugs as millions of new, previously uninsured people come under the federal umbrella.

Any piece of news that makes the pharma landscape glow tends to shoot up stock values.

From a financial point of view, it would be ridiculous to assume New York State government would oppose national health insurance. It’s good for business. The business of, yes, New York State government.

And by the way, to the extent that some of these drug companies manufacture vaccines (and they do), the New York State government would be a big-time supporter of the mass vaccinations that accompany each new phony epidemic, such as Swine Flu. Again, for business reasons. In fact, we may now understand a new reason why, until huge protests derailed it, New York tried to make the H1N1 vaccine mandatory for all state health workers.

Here are some of the pharmaceutical listings in the New York Retirement Fund. The value of each stock holding is as of Mar.31, 2006.

Schering-Plough: $138,013,129
Barr: $39,152, 525
Baxter: $105,606, 745
Gilead: $127,348,101
Roche: $87,762,875
MedImmune: $46,942, 968
Bayer: $39,318,918
Bristol-Myers Squibb: $195,807,422
GlaxoSmithKline: $137,729,350
Pfizer: $834,756,329
Novartis: $131,221,033
Merck: $344,768,742
Eli Lilly: $249,409,636
Vertex: $17,947,395

Drug companies. $2.5 billion and change. One retirement fund in one state.

Walter Burien goes much further—and here you would have to consult his site for supporting evidence. He states that, when you look at the various investment funds of the 50 state governments, and when you consider the possibility that many of these funds act (invest) in concert, governments turn out to be controlling stockholders in some of the biggest corporations in America.

Turn that thought over in your mind a few times.

Here’s another explosion: To what degree did the federal bailout bail out the New York State government? Well, among the 2006 NY Retirement Fund listings, we have:

Goldman Sachs: $268,770,613
Bank of America: $896,993,638
Citigroup: $1,036,682,080.

This gives another perspective on what a fed bailout means. It functions as profit protection. For a state government.

Imagine state legislators and other state officials consulting THE INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO of their state government before they vote for or against legislation.

The hits keep coming.

“As governor of your state, my friends, I am taking every action I can to assure the profits of this administration continue to rise. As taxpayers, you are the stakeholders. What you pay us, we invest. Of course, we never show you the balance sheet, and we never indicate whether we need your taxes, or whether our profits alone are sufficient for running the state. But that’s the way the game works. You stay in the dark. When we raise your taxes, we give you reasons—which may be accurate or sheer nonsense. The point is, we keep taking your money and investing it…”

Drinking regular cups of tea could help protect your memory, new research suggests

'Tests by a team from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne found that green and black tea inhibit the activity of certain enzymes in the brain that are associated with memory. Researchers hope the findings will lead to the development of a new treatment for Alzheimer's Disease.'

They found that both green and black tea inhibited the activity of enzymes associated with the development of Alzheimer's Disease, but coffee had no significant effect.

Both teas inhibited the activity of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase (AChE), which breaks down the chemical messenger or neurotransmitter, acetylcholine. Alzheimer's is characterised by a drop in acetylcholine.

Green tea and black tea also hinder the activity of the enzyme butyrylcholinesterase (BuChE), which has been discovered in protein deposits which are found on the brain of patients with Alzheimer's.'

7 Health Tests You Just Don't Need

'For people who want reassurances of their health, a growing number of private screening clinics and health tests have sprouting in recent years. However, they can often produce misleading results if examiners do not take account of people's backgrounds and their likelihood of developing certain diseases. Most of these tests also expose patients to unnecessary health risks. Here are 7 health tests you need to avoid.'

Big Gov’t Forces Health Care Bill Despite Bi-partisan Opposition

'IN A SPECIAL NEWS BULLETIN, Alex Jones warns against the Big Government, Big Insurance Health Care Bill being forced down in the Senate despite opposition by members in both parties and an overwhelming majority of Americans.

After all the denial, the final version of the bill proves to have in place the so-called death panels, the abortion funding, no public option, cuts in Medicare and forced coverage backed by heavy fines or prison.'

Congressman Dennis Kucinich on ‘OBAMACARE’: ‘The insurance companies are going to get a windfall’

Obama sold out the US taxpayer to greedy Wall Street banksters.

He sold out the US taxpayer to the military-industrial complex by escalating the war in Afghanistan and not bringing the troops home.

He sold out the US taxpayer by breaking every major promise he made during his campaign, continuing with Bush’s policies.

Now he plans to sell out the US taxpayer to the insurance and pharmaceutical companies.

At least he is consistent with destroying America every time he gets a chance to do so, like - or even worse than - G. W. Bush.

‘Obamanomics’ and now also ‘Obamacare’ will be a complete disaster for the American people.

Love Your Lymph

Wild indigo cleans the lymph system and reduces swelling in the lymph glands.

'Want vibrant health? Many practitioners recommend cleansing, an age-old practice used in holistic medicine. When you mention cleansing to most people, they typically think of eliminating toxins from the liver and intestines, which is indeed a valuable health practice. But there is an equally important, and much-overlooked, system in the body that keeps us feeling great — the lymphatic system. Whether you’re suffering from aches and pains, swelling, inflammation, fatty deposits or bloating, cleansing the lymphatic system once or twice a year often can be the difference between great health and poor health.'
